Hey Pojosama!!
I'm just writing to let you know that I disagree with the rating you gave to
my man Venomoth (3.5). Sure he's a Stage 1 pokemon with only 70 Hit Points,
but why is that so bad? I think its about the average amount of HP for a
stage 1 creature. Not many people know, but Venomoth is one of the greatest
cards to add to your deck if you Metagame. All you do is add some of the
"splash pokemon" (creatures that can attack using colorless energy) that are
weak to the Metagame in your area to your deck. When you have these "splash
pokemon" on your bench you could use Venomoth's Pokemon Power 'Shift' to
shift Venomoth's type to the appropriate weakness of the defending pokemon.
Now Venom Powder does 20 damge instead of 10. We all know how useful a free
retreat cost is, and once you've effectively poisoned and confused the
defending creature, Venomoth can retreat for a heavy hitter to finish off
your opponent.

People dislike Venomoth due to his average amount of HP and his weak attack,
but Venomoth isn't there to knock out the defending Pokemon quickly. He's
there for his status effects to disrupt your opponent's strategy and allow
you to get an edge over your opponent. If anyone has any comments or
arguments feel free to email me.
