So, you think Scyther sucks? Let's review him once more and see. 70HP is
pretty good for a Basic, most are a lot lower. Its first attack, Swords'
Dance, allows you to play it on Turn 1 and do 60 the second turn using Double
Colorless. It can also get around pesky Grass resistance. Second attack is
SLash for 3C doing 30. Not great, but it's ALL COLORLESS! He's a great
splasher for decks to add that little touch of Grass. The potential Dance
boost doesn't hurt either. Weak against Fire is acceptable, since he's a
Grass, and many Grass are. Resistance? FIGHTING! THis guy eats Haymaker decks
for Breakfast. Anyone who plays a Fighting while Scyther is outis dead.
Retreat is 0, that rocks. If somebody sends out a FIre, he can retreat and
come out later, maybe in 2 turns if stuck with Water, ready to go at it. All
this with one guy? One word from the other side: ouch.
