POKEMON LAB
CINNABAR ISLAND
2-14-00

    {You see a man dressed in a lab coat holding the PokeDex TCG 2000}
    Prof. Wolf: Oh, hello there all you Pokemaniacs out there! Its me again
Prof. Jb Wolf. I just got this in the mail.
    {He holds up a light green disk}
    Prof. Wolf: Its an upgrade for my PokeDex TCG 2000. It will add more
Pokemon, Trainer, and Energy cards to its data bank. I'll just slip it in.
    {He slips the disk into a slot on the side of the PokeDex TCG 2000.}
    {The PokeDex then starts to scroll down a list of Pokemon Cards on its
screen.}
    Prof. Wolf: Oh, this card looks interesting. PokeDex, stop scrolling and
bring up info on the Resistance-Lowering Gym.
    {The PokeDex's screen goes blank for a moment.}
    {Suddenly, a 3D picture of the Resistance-Lowering Gym appears on the
screen}

    The resistance power for all Pokemon is reduced by 20. (For example, if
the Defending Pokemon's Resistance is -30, then it goes down to -10.)
    This Card must be placed on the side of the battle area.
    If another Stadium Card comes into the battle area, you must discards
this card.

    Prof. Wolf: This Card will give Haymakers a much needed edge against
Fight-Resistant Pokemon like Scyther, Articuno, or Moltres, and Psychic Decks
can get through those pesky strong Colorless Pokemon with Resistance to
Psychic. It'll also work for Electric Decks if they come up against Fighting
Decks with Sandslash or Dugtrio in them. This Card is a must for all Fighting
and Psychic Decks, and of some use in Electric and, when Neo comes out,
Grass. Thats all for now. Next time I'll talk about another Stadium Card that
could effect the Pokemon TCG a lot. So, until next time, See Ya!!!
