I don't know about this Imposter Oak... he looks pretty cool, I'll give him
that. I usually toss one or two in my deck just for the heck of it, but it
is hard to find a time to use it correctly(Usually is trainer/discrad
fodder) . If your opponent doen't have a good poker face and you know he has
something nasty up his sleeve you can whack em with an imposter. Also useful
if you have trouble getting basics in the initial draw and your opponent
draws a few extra cards you dont want them to have. He also can make an
appearance when you opponent is talking trash like "It doesn't matter what
you do, your dead next turn." And you can see that he can't pull it off with
what is on the table. I guess it could help with Mankey on the bench for a
few turns, but this won't come up too often I don't think. Fake Oak can be
really nasty if you use clairvoyance power that Omanyte has to squelch any
plans you see brewing, or if a opponent has just
scavenged/searched/retrieved that is particularly devastating. And if they
have a hand around 7 cards and have just pokedexed you can make em shuffle
their deck just to be a jerk. Speaking of being a jerk.... ever play guy and
see some pretty colors illuminating his face (he might be smirking a little
too) well these colors you see are his hand full of holofoils... maybe time
for a new hand for this dude. I know this doesnt have much to do with the
rules of the game but it sure is part of the dynamic, could be cheating
even, but I doubt it. Just so you know those holofoils are pretty shiny
sometimes and I have had them rat me out a couple times... oh well. Just
remember your pokerface when Imposter Oak is around.
