SPACE SHUTTLE LAUNCH PAD
CINNABAR ISLAND
2-28-00

    {You see a man in a lab coat wearing a helmet connected to a oxygen tank}
    {He turns to look at you.}
    Prof. JB: Hey, all you Pokemaniacs I was just about to head into space on
my mobile space lab. You can join me.
    {He steps into the shuttle and sits in the pilots chair.}
    Prof. JB: Everyone strapped in? Good. Then......
    {He starts the thrusters and launches the mobile lab}
    Prof. JB:.....away we go!!!!!!!!
    {As the lab clears the atmosphere, Prof. Wolf gets up and walks to the
back and into the obsevation room.}
    Prof. JB: Space, the next frontier. Hey, isn't that Mew!
    {He points out the window, and there, floating in a pink bubble, is Mew.}
    Prof. JB: That reminds me.
    {He takes out the PokeDex TCG 2000}
    Prof. JB: I'd like to talk about the Mew card. PokeDex TCG 2000 bring up
the Pokemon Card Mew.
    {A 3-D image of the Mew card appears}
    Mew
    Psychic
    50HP
    Attacks: 1 Psy: Psywave- 10x. Does 10 damage times the number of Energy
Cards attached to the Defending Pokemon
    2 Psy: Devoulution Beam. Choose an evovled Pokemon (your own or your
opponent's). Return the highest stage Evolution card on that Pokemon to its
player's hand. That Pokemon is no longer Asleep, Confused, Paralyzed,
Poisoned, or anything else that might be the result of an attack (just as if
you had evolved it)
    Retreat: 1 C
    Weakness: Psychic

    Prof. JB: Now there are a two ways to use Mew: 1. Use Mew as an attacker.
Hope the opponent has lots of Energy on it. 2. Devolve the Defending Pokemon
or any of the benched Pokemon. Good if you have Aerodactyl on the Bench.
    Prof. JB: Overall I think Mew is a good card. There are a number of decks
you can use it in. Take me for example I have a Psy/Water Deck that has Mew,
Golduck, and Aerodactyl. My strategy is to evolve a few Psyducks into
Golducks, and after I do that I drop Aerodactyl onto the Bench. Then, I use
Mew to keep the evolutions off and maybe KO some if they have a lot of damage
and Golduck to keep Energy of off the Heavy Hitters. Until next time, C'ya!
