Hey Pojo-ers! Snifit 9 is back again! Let's talk about Digger (TR Secret
Machine)
People say this card sucks and for a good reason: It's like a Plus Power that
can backfire, right? At first glance that sucks but then you start
thinking...hey, I don't have to attack to do this 10 HP damage. If I'm lucky
I get a free 10 HP damage on my opponent. Now 95% of everyone out there is
like "So what!?" The point is that this card can be very useful in, say, a
Curse deck. Digger can do 3 things here:

1: Your opponent's Active Pokemon takes 10 HP damage, leaving Gengar a damage
counter to fool around with.

2: With the aid of Curse (and maybe a GOW) you just KO'd a Pokemon by playing
a Trainer card! This is handy because it tacks on an extra 10 damage that can
kill off a troublesome Pokemon. I've kill 3 Pokemon in one turn doing this.

Fossil Hypno active. 2 Gengar benched. My opponent had an active Ditto with 3
damage counters on it, a Lapras with only 10 HP left and a Nidorino with a
single counter on it (it was Super Potioned earlier). I Curse, putting
Nidorino's counter on Lapras. Prize one. Curse a counter onto Ditto and play
Digger. I flip heads, my opponent flips heads, I flip heads again, and then
my opponent flips tails. I GOW out Nidorino. Ditto reverts back to Ditto and
it's HP drops so it is doomed. Prize 2. Now I Dark Mind Nidorino for the 3rd
kill. I win due to no bench.

and 3: You take 10 damage....sorry for your luck.

Another nice feature about Digger is that if you use a Plus Power while doing
Nightmare you still won't do any damage against a Psy-resistant
Pokemon...where as if you play Digger you can do damage. Thats a nice little
bit of information to know.

If you play a Curse deck then at least consider Digger, it can really help
you out. Hmmm....maybe I'll make a Dugtrio deck and use Digger just to go
along with the theme...? Oh well, until next time. Adios.
