Eliott Anderson here with my 3 pokemon friends,
Scyther, Chansey, & Snorlax.  So hello.

Scyyyttheer
CHANSEY
ZZZZZ

I have to leave for a meeting, so I'll have my pokemon
do the articles for a while.  Ok, take it.

Scyyyther Sccyyyyytttther (Ok, today, we'll compare
the Persian & Dark Persian cards)

Channnnseeey (Ok, here are the cards)

--------------------
Persian (Jungle)
HP: 70
Weak: Fighting
Resist: Psychic
Retreat: 0
Pojo Rating: 3/5 pokeballs

[2] Scratch (20)
[3] Bite (30) This card will take 10 less damage next
turn.

--------------------

Dark Persian (Team Rocket)
HP: 60
Weak: Fighting
Resist: Psychic
Retreat: 0
Pojo Rating: 2/5 pokeballs

[1] Fascinate (00) Flip a coin. If heads, switch your
opponent's Active pokemon with a Benched one.
[2] Poison Claws (10) Flip a coin. If heads, then
defender is poisoned.

--------------------

Channnnseeeeey seeey Chanseeey (I must say, neither of
these cards seems to be all that good.)

Scyther Scyyyyyyytheeeeeer (I agree, but let's go into
more detail.)

Snorlax (Huh, where's Eliott?)

Scyther Scyther (He's gone for a while, and we are to
compare the Persian cards.)

Snor Snorlax Snorrrrrrrrrrlax (Oh. Well, I think that
the jungle Persian is better. )

Scyyyyyyther (I agree.)

Chansey Chansey Chansey Chansey Channnnnseeeeeeeey
(That makes it unanimous. I mean, look at Dark
Persian's attacks.)

Scyyyyyyyther Scyyyyther Scyyyyyytheeeeeer(Yuck. Both
are coin flip attacks, neither doing much damage.)

Snorlax Snorlax Snorlax Snorlax (Jungle Persian's do
take cost a little more energy, but the Bite attack is
helpful if you're weak, and a definite 20 for 2 is
decent too.)

Chansey Chansey (Most people have adjusted their decks
to be able to get rid of ailments like poison quickly
with many switches & low retreat pokemon. I don't
really think poison is all that good)

Scccccyyyyyttttttthhhhheeeerrrr (I think poison is
great. I think that the first attack for Dark is
worthless. And though poison claws may be good near
the end of the game, I think solid damagers such as
Jungle's attacks, including ones to lower damage, is
more efficient. Plus, only having 60 HP & a weakness
to Fighting will kill you off pretty quick.)

Chansey (I know. Though 70 isn't much more, it's one
more attack for many pokemon.)

Snorlax Snorlax (So we all agree that you should never
use Dark Persian?)

Chansey (No, but I wouldn't use more than 2 in a deck.
It just isn't that strong.)

Scccyyyttthhhheeerrr (Well, I think that Fossil is a
lot more safe, but if people prefer the Dark Persian,
then I don't really think that it's that much of a
worse choice than if they chose the Jungle Persian. I
really don't like either one. I will admit that they
are decent colorless pokemon, with fair attacks, but I
prefer ones like Wigglytuff & Fearow.)

*DING DING DING*
Alarm in Eliott's voice: That's all for today's card.
Come on back in pokemon. Have a good day everyone.

---------------

Please e-mail with the next rocket-non-rocket
comparison you would like me to make.  Whatever
pokemon I get the most votes for, I'll do my next
review over.
