Fossil Haunter is too good! In case you don't know by now(but what are the
chances of that?) this is everything the Fossil Haunter has....
HP:50
Pokemon Power:Transparency
When an attack does anything to Haunter flip a coin, if heads prevent all
effects of that attack, including damage done to Haunter. This power doesn't
work while Haunter is asleep, confused and paralyzed.
(PC)Nightmare:10   The defending Pokemon is now asleep
Weakness:Believe it or not, nothing
Resistance:Fighting
Retreat cost:Also cool, nothing!
The hit points really need improvement for a stage1, the 50HP is no
improvement over Ghastly's. The power that it has is simply amazing,
everytime something, anything is done to Haunter there is a 50% chance of
failure almost every time and it protects it from confusion or anything that
would shut down his power(besides Muk or Goop Gas Attack). That means that if
Haunter was hit by Gloom's foul odor attack, he would flip a coin, if heads,
nno damage is done so your opponent just confused his own Pokemon for
nothing. Other attacks, like Snorlax's body slam  means your opponent would
flip a coin, if heads, Haunter is paralyzed but he's not through yet, then
you would flip a coin, if heads, Snorlax wasted the energy and the attack did
no damage and had no effect. The attack won't harm any colrless Pokemon like
Jigglypuff but it puts anyone to sleep so it's worth the 2 energy, his
retreat is free and that's convienent, Nightmare racks up damage every turn,
you put the defending Pokemon asleep, do 10 damage, if he wakes up, do it
again, do another 10, then do it again, and again and yet again, resistance
means Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan better say their prayers and is good against
any other fighting Pokemon. As for Muk, he can shut down transparency, but he
has werakness to Haunter's type so Nightmare does 20 each turn, a few turns,
Muk is history!
