Today's single card strategy is based on Dark Gyarados, from Team Rocket
set, a strong water stage1 with incredible strength who can possibly KO any
fire Pokemon if it has enough water energy. Observe the card that is Dark
Gyrados...
HP:70
Pokemon Power:Final Beam:When Dark Gyarados is knocked out, flip a coin, if
heads this power does 20 damage times the number of water energy. Apply
weakness and resistance, you know the last sentence...
(WWW)Ice Beam:30 Flip a coin if heads the defending Pokemon is now paralyzed
Weakness:Leaf
Resistance:Fighting
Retreat cost:2
Dark Gyarados is great with a Blastoise, so before you evolve that
TRMagicarp, use A Pokemon Breeder on Squirtle, then you'll have a deadly
combination that no fire Pokemon can resist, observe the wrds Apply weakness
and resistance on Drak Gyarados' power. Meaning that if Blastoise Rain Dances
a lot of energy his attack will do 60 damage to a fire type and final beam
can finish them off, if it works and for me it has. Dark Gyarados V.S
Ninetales, Fire Blast is a KO but final beam will KO Ninetales just by having
2 water energy attached. Dark Gyarados VS Charizard, Charizard fire spins,
Dark Gyarados is history, Final Beam, use 3 water energies with Blastoise,
flip a heads and Charizard is out of the match, now let's see how well Drak
Gyarodos does against Fire Pokemon from Team Rocket, Charmander, easy KO
without even using final beam, Dark Charmeleon, it depends on how successful
fireball and final beam is but if Dark Gyarodos gets the first attack then
Dark Charmeleon is history, Dark Charizard, depends on how well Continious
Fireball works, if it doesn't then Dark Gyrados has the win. The best part is
that nobody from any card set in the US has resistance to water Pokemon so
Final Beam makes all the bad things about this card(Low hit points, weaker
attack than Base set Gyarados and weakness)seem better, so I hope I've
convinced you to use Dark Gyrados in your Rain Dance deck.
