Hey all, Im submitting this to inform many of the Japanese (Soon to be
Amereican) Team Rocket Scyther, from the Gym 2 series. Since I was able to
find translations to the card my friends allowed me to use my newly puchased
Scyther, however japanese cards are not allowed in Leuge or Tournament play,
so if you plan on using one/four, make plans for backup cards. Many people
already know that the Jungle Scyther is a great card, Basic Pokemon, 30/60
Attack, No retreat, and resistance to fighting, I am inclined to agree. I
have 3 Scythers in my deck, plus my R.Scyther. First and for most, the cards
stats are important, and they are...

Name: Team Rockets Scyther
60HP
1 Grass: Shadow Image: If the defending Pokemon tries to attack Scyther on
its turn, flip a coin. If heads prevent all damage done to Scyhter
1 Grass/2 Colorless: Speed Scythe: 40 Damage
1 Retreat Cost
Weakness to Fire
Resistance to Grass

Already, the other Scyther seems for effective in the field of battle, since
his HP and Retreat are more reliable. The Jungle Scyther is used due to his
good attack and retreat capabilities, this Scyther is almost totally
opposite. This Scyther is used to stay in battle, and when peril simply use
his Double Image, while when the defending Pokemon is low on energy or some
other form of a no or low power attack, tear through them with Speed Scythe,
since 40 damage is quite nice. This Scyther can also be used very quickly,
simply putting a Grass energy on him, and dodging the enemies attack until a
Double Colorless shows up. His Shodow image attack can also be used as a
staller, using it while Nidoking, Beedrill or Pinsir is powering up on your
bench. Using these tactics Team Rockets Scyther's weakness and downfalls are
shugged off and a new Scyther is brought into the spot light. Putting both
Scythers in a deck, along with Fossil Haunters make excellent time for your
heavy hitters to power-up and mow down the opponent. Putting Pinsirs, and
Beedrill along with them creates an awesome array of power awaiting to win
you the game. So make room for a new Scyther, and win some battles against
your friends! Until Next Time!
