Pinsir?  A Haymaker?  No thanks.  Now lets see an alternative, a better card:

Name:         Dewgong
Type:         Stage 1 -- from Seel
Color:        Water
HP:           80 HP
Weakness:     L
Resistance:   none
Retreat:      CCC
Attack:       [CWW]  Aurora Beam  (50)
Attack:       [CCWW]  Ice Beam  (30)
Flip coin. If heads, defender is now Paralyzed.

I choose Dewgong over Pinsir because:
*HP:            80 vs. 60
*Attack 1:    50 for 3 vs. 50 for 4

Why Pinsir is better:
*Attack 2:        20/Paralyze for 2 vs. 30/Paralyze for 4
*Retreat:          1 vs. 3

Now, your probably saying "Hey, wait a darn-tootin' minute!  Pinsir is a basic and therefore is better than Dewgong!"  But as Jim T. states:

> "Pinsir is not supposed to come out early.  The HP combined with the lack of first turn attack make him a bad candidate for the early game (but if you do get stuck with him out early, he'll still be able to manage for a turn or two until you regroup).  Pinsir
thrives in the late game."

What good is a basic Pokemon that you can't use in the early game?!?!  If you're not using it until late in the game, why not evolve a basic Pokemon into something better than Pinsir?  Hmm... A Pinsir that sits on your bench until the late game or a Seel that sits on your bench until the late game and then evolves into Dewgong?  I say Dewgong.  And I don't think anybody would use a Dewgong in a haymaker.

Well, that said, I feel much better.  Thank You.
