Hi again, Pojo Fans!!!!!
This is Psy, reporting for duty in looking rare and overlooked cards.  Today
we will be looking at the most underplayed card that can kill those stupid
(No offense) Blastoises in one or two hits, that can do up to 80 damage
(very rarely) for TWO energy, that has okay HP for a basic and for a Ultra
Rare card (the HP or attacks on those are usually bad)...it's Happy Birthday
Pikachu.  Now please, those of you screaming at your computer about the
rarity and cost of the cards, here's something for you: the cards are made
to play with, not to lock in a safe, they're not made to drool at behind
glass in a locked glass case with built in motion and heat sensers that you
spent more on than the card itself.  Whew!!  Felt good to get that out!!!
Now, on to the card!

________'s Pikachu Lv.17 50HP
         Your Name Here

LL       (Not quite sure on Attack Name)  30+
If it's your bithday, flip a coin, if heads, this attack
does 30 damage + 50 damage.  If tails, this atttack
    does 30 damage.

Weakness: Resistance: Retreat Cost:
Fighting/Ground       None, Nada, Zero, Zip     One Energy

Okay, I admit, there are some better cards out there, but I'm not comparing
I HATE people that compare cards, especially stages ones and twos-to
BASICS!!!  I mean, each card is ment for certain purposes, but comparing
like that-it's just plain...I don't know, it just makes me REALLY annoyed.
Sorry for getting off the subject.  Now, let's take a look at the downsides
of the card.

Downsides:  The attack, your birthday comes once a year, and players can lie
about it.  Also the weakness-ground types are becoming more wiedly used with
the Team Rocket and will become even more useful with Gym.  However, no
Ground type can knock out this Pikachu on turn one without the use of a
pluspower, and on turn two without damage being done to them only if they
went first.  Then there's the resistance: none.  Plus, in can't evolve.  Oh,
yeah, HP is kinda low.  Those are all definately major downsides.

Upsides:  The attack even though a downside, is certainly okay, with the
ability to knock out those Blastoises.  30 damage on turn two is a threat to
many water types.  The retreat is good, and as for the damage done to it,
defenders and potions will help it.  However in the long run, Scyther is
probably a better choice, and many people think WOTC will either reword or
not print it.  But hey, every car has its advanteges.  Let's take a look at
some strategies and combos:

Pikachu+Steel Energy+Potion

Translation:  When you attatch this enrgy to a Pokemon, damage from an
attack is reduced by ten (After applying weakness and resistance)
Translation may be wrong, I'm not sure if it does 10 damage tot he card or
not.

If you use this combo right, Pikachu will be hard to damage and stay in play
long enough to knock out Pokemon of higher levels.

Pikachu+Base Set Electrode

Keep Pikachu on the bench, Buzzap, retreat your active, you get the
Picture!!

Those are all of the combos I can think of.  Sorry they're short, I'm tired
of typing.  This is Psy, 'Psy"ning off!!
