i think i have found the answer to charizard deck players prayers has arrived in the gym 1 set and its one weird lookin savior too (a slowpoke with a giant tube on its head) on to the card.

 

 

rememberance:

trainer no number    (UN)   

effect:    your evolved active pokemon , for this turn only, may use an attack from a lower-level of evolution

 

say u have a charizard w/ 4 fire energy on u use fire spin ko the active then u have no way to attack for 1 turn. thats where rememberance comes in . instead of twiddling your thumbs for a turn u can attack again.

back to our situation: after killing the active, say the opponent plays a chansey with no energy (so no scrunching for our little situation) u attach fire or any other type since their attacks are pretty much colorless then play rememberance and use charmeleon's slash. next turn attach another energy to charizard then finish off the big pink egg with fire spin.
