After gaining knowledge from loads of deck fixes, like in Dr.crash's office
(garage), satoshi's shop (garage) and spike's shed (garage), I think it is
time for me to write another article.

This time it's Moltres (Fossil).

------------------------------------------

Name: Moltres
Type: Fire
Stage: Basic Pokemon
HP: 70
Weakness: none
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat: 2
Attacks:

R - Wildfire - You may discard any number of R Energy cards attached to
Moltres when you use this attack. If you do, discard that many cards from
the top of your opponent's deck.

RRRR - Dive Bomb (80) - Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing.

------------------------------------------

The first thing you will notice is Wildfire. It is an unusual attack, which
a few decks revolve around. It is annoying, when my friend was using my
favourite deck and I was using my Wildfire deck (with only 1 Moltres), I
dicarded a Blastoise! (The guy who I was playing against normally uses his
"Overgrowth" theme deck. These people have no idea about what a good deck
is.)

Dive Bomb is not really worth using, it does an AVERAGE of 40 damage for 4
ColourED energy. NOT GOOD.

------------------------------------------

70 HP, No weakness and resistance to fighting are helpful, (especailly
against Hitmonchan). 2 Retreat is not good but not bad.

------------------------------------------

It's a pity that Moltres is not a Blaine's pokemon, the trainer Blaine would
work EXTREMELY WELL with Moltres.

Combos:

Moltres + Energy Retrival/Gastly(do I need to say which set?) : Retrieve
those Fire Energy!

Moltres + Imposter Professor Oak : If your opponent has a low amount of
cards in their hand, it can decrease their deck.

Moltres + Challenge! : If your opponent gets a full bench it can decrease
their deck.

Moltres + Maintenance : It puts cards in your deck...

------------------------------------------

P.S. Have you ever noticed that the title of the page on an article on pojo
is usually the first few words of the article?
