*A kid and a Venusaur suddenly appear. *
Chenoe: We've arrived at Pojo! I'm here to talk about an unmentioned yet bad
compareision, and no, it doesn't involve Scyther.
Anyway, in all the fury against the Scyther bashing articles (which sits
right along with the point system as one of the worst topics at Pojo) people
seemed not to notice a bad comapreision-an article comparing Dark Golbat to
Hitmonlee.
The article was like this: (only without my comments)

"Okay, here's 2 cards I have just noticed to be quite similar: Dark
Golbat and Hitmonlee.

ChenoeVenusaur: Dark Golbat have different HP, Different evolution stages,
and are different types! Anyway aren't you not supposed to compare different
evolution stages?

Let's take a look at Hitmonlee:

Hitmonlee
60 HP
FF: Stretch Kick.  Choose one your opponent's benched Pokémon and this
attack does 20 damage to it (don't apply weakness and resistance)
FFF: High Jump Kick. 50.
1 retreat, weakness to Psychic

Hmm, not bad.  The 60 HP is kinda bad

ChenoeVenusaur: IT'S A BASIC!

, But not that terrible if you're
not playing a Haymaker or other extremely fast deck.  Stretch Kick is,
well, not particularly good, but not too bad for a second turn attack.
High Jump Kick is fairly good, but a tad expensive if you ask me.

ChenoeVenusaur:Hmm...thats the same as calling Hitmochan expensive. Anyway,
Thats especially strange because mathmatically, high jump kick is less
expensive than stretch kick.
(stretch kick is 10 damage for each energy, high jump kick is over 15 damage
for each energy).

Overall, pretty good.  Now onto Dark Golbat:

Dark Golbat
50 HP
Pokémon Power: Sneak Attack.  When you play Dark Golbat from your hand,
you may choose one of your opponent's Pokémon and this power does 10
damage to it.  Apply Weakness and Resistance.
GG: Flitter.  Choose one your opponent's Pokémon and this attack does 20
damage to it. (don't apply weakness and resistance)
0 retreat, weakness to Psychic, resistance to Fighting

Also not bad.  Nice bench attacker.  Sneak Attack has a lot of potential,
and so does Flitter.

ChenoeVenusaur: It only does 10 and 20 damage though.Strech kick does the
same as flitter, only restricted to the bench.

The 50 HP will be a problem though.  But his good
attack/PP and resistance make up for it.  Overall, pretty good too.
Okay, but who's better for a bench destruction deck?

ChenoeVenusaur:Niether of them are good bench-blasters.
The good bench blasters are:
Jungle Pikachu (same HP, attack is like Pokemon power only with 20 damage to
Opponent's active)
Fossil Raichu:(Multiple attacks on the bench, and the 30 damage to the active
makes everyone damaged, so retreating is a nightmare)!
Jungle Electrode:(even more bench-blasting fun, plus 20 damage!)

  What about a
normal deck?

ChenoeVenusaur: There is no normal deck!

Bench Destruction: Hafta go with Dark Golbat.  His Pokémon Power is
almost like a pluspower that can damage the bench

ChenoeVenusaur: your just trying to make 10 damage look awesome!

 (And I hope you all
know how good pluspower is), and his attack can also damage the active
Pokémon (unlike Hitmonlee's), which is also a plus.

ChenoeVenusaur:But,you have to evolve it first!

  And the cool card
art doesn't hurt either ;)"

ChenoeVenusaur: same with base-set ghastly, the Pokemon we want to hate!
Anyway, thats over!
