I have recently decided to try the NP Mewtwo and I found a strategy. I had
out someone and he was KO'd, and most of his Pokemon were pumped up with
energies. He had a Kangaskhan with 3 energy on it. Now, I had a NP Mewtwo on
my bench and a Psychic energy, GOW, and SER. Then I got an idea. I sent out
my Mewtwo, attached a psychic energy to it, GOW out his Kangaskhan, SER'd two
energys off it (taken one of a benched PKMN) and then used energy control. I
flipped heads and took off his last energy and put on an Articuno with 4
energys on it so that that energy was useless. Then on his turn, he could'nt
do anything, he had his benched PKMN pumped and had used most of his energy.
Then on my turn i drew a psy energy and attached it to Mewtwo. He had to skip
a turn again. Then I drew a psychic energy and used his second attack. I did
30 damage to articuno. Then he attached another energy to Kangaskhan. I then
used Mewtwo's first attack and moved the energy to Articuno. To make a long
story short, I KO'd the Articuno and won the duel. Any high energy retreat
PKMN will do. Snorlax, Kangaskhan, Kadabra, Alakazam, Charizard, Blastoise,
will do. WATCH OUT FOR GRASS DECKS THOUGH!!! Venusaur makes this strategy
blow up in your face. Actually, Blastoise probably will too.
