I have been playing for about 6 months now and I have realized that Plus
Powers are VERY GOOD trainer cards. Think about it, it lets you add 10 Damage
to any attack that succesfully inflicts damage.

Here is what the cards says:
-----
Plus Power

Attach PlusPower to your active Pokémon. At the end of your turn, discard
PlusPower. If this Pokémon's attack does damage to the defending Pokémon
(after applying Weakness and Resistance), the attack does 10 more damage to
the defending Pokémon.
-----
Some good ways to use these are to attach them on the first turn to a Rattata,
Farfetch'd, or any other first turn attacker that can do 20+ damage on turn 1.
Since most basic Pokémon have 30 or 40 HP (some have more, yeah I know) you
have a very good chance of a KO on first turn which is a GREAT surprize,
especially if you opponents bench is empty because you will have won on the
first turn!  With Farfetch'd you must attach it and flip a coin to see if it
does the 30 + 10 damage but if it is sucessful (50/50 chance) you will most
likely inflict 40 damage and KO the defending Pokémon!

A hand of 2-4 of these is great for a late game surprize as well, you opponent
will think he has a few more turns to KO you in, but attach 1-4 of these and
inflict anywhere from 10-40 MORE damage plus your attack!

Good Late game attackers with Plus Power are big hitters like Charizard (not
the best Pokémon though), Blastoise  (an added plus power will make his attack
do 70 damage - the HP for most Haymaker Pokémon like Hitmonchan, Scyther,
Electabuzz, and sometimes Jynx- this is a good way to get rid of those pesky
haymaker pokemon!), Zapdos (fossil) (add a few plus powers and do anywhere
from 50 - 80 damage to the defending Pokémon!

Okay, enough examples.

Plus Powers are a great way to get by Pokémon with a Resistance or Pokémon
that have Hardened, or some other defensive move that protects them from a
certain ammount of damage temporarily, with the plus powers you can get by
these moves that reduce the ammount of damage they take.

I hope this has helped some of you and opened your eyes up to this great
card!
