Okay, this is my top fifteen list.  After reading it, you may be laughing so hard you will be falling out of your chair, but, well, it's just my opinion.  And sorry if too many of the cards here are Grass, because Grass is truly amazing.

15. Pinsir- 60 HP for a basic, 20 paralysis attack and 50 damage attack.  Never used him before but I'm sure he is awesome.

14.  Ninetales- Without a doubt the best fire card.  Better than Magmar(fossil), better than Flareon, and better than the great yet very overrated Charizard.  For two colorless Lure helps you stall, and fire blast is one of the best moves in Pokémon because it does 80 damage a the small price of a R energy discard.

13.  Muk- Gotta love that Pokémon Power.  It shuts down all decks based on  Pokémon powers like Damage Swap.  And sludge rocks!!!  Muk is #13 on the list.

12.  Hitmonchan- For 1 energy 20 damage, and for 3, 40 damage.  70 HP for a basic.  However, I hate that retreat cost...

11.  Beedril- I've had on and off opinions about this card but I suddenly liked it when I found out the right way poison works(10 damage after EACH player's turn, not just the poisoned player's turn)  A stage 2 isn't good but twinneedle is okay being colorless and Poison sting is a very powerful attack, no retreat and a resistance to fighting.

10.  Golduck- Psyduck is a very tough basic and Golduck is a very tough stage 1.  70 HP isn't bad, Psyshock is good and hyper beam is very, very awesome.

 9.  Alakazam- I do not use Psychic but Alakazam is very great!  One of the best PKMN powers in the game, and Confuse Ray rocks!  Best Psychic.

 8. Electabuzz- Don't get me wrong, Lightning is very, very, very crappy!!!!  But Electabuzz is one of the few, VERY few, Electric PKMN that are good.  For 1 energy 10 and paralyze and for two 40 or 30 and 10 to self.

 7.  Chansey- The true king of stallers(or Queen).  120 HP and an attack that prevents damage to self?  1 retreat??  80 damage??!!??  I'm sold!

 6.  Wigglytuff-  She evolves from Jigglypuff, an awesome card.  And she has a very powerful attack for 3 energy!  NOTE:  Many people are suggesting you use a Nidoran F, Marowak or anyone who has a "call for family" attack with Wigglytuff.  Don't!!!  This strategy is bad, because I usually have around 6 basics in my hand to put down.

5.Nidoking- For 3 Grass Energy, Toxic.  It does 20 and poisons for 20!  I have a deck based around him called "Toxic Venom"  backed up by the #1 card.

 4.Scyther-  60 on turn 2, enough said!!!!!!!

 3. Blastoise-  Very, very awesome, but in my opinion not as good as the #2 Pokémon.  100 HP and Hydro Pump are good, and Rain Dance really kicks with the ability to throw down all the W energy you want.

 2.  Venusaur-  Combined with Pokémon that have no retreat cost, you can keep hitting and running with only 4 energy on the table!  Try using Butterfree, Beedril, the #1 Pokémon and Golbat to keep hitting + running!  Nice strategy huh?  And solarbeam Rocks!!!

OK, here is the #1 Pokémon.  It's kinda different than the other top 10's and top 15's, but this is just my opinion.  You can laugh, but please, no flames!

and the no 1 Pokemon is going to be announced in

VENOMOTH!!!!!!!  -for two energies Venom Powder.  Flip a coin.  If heads, the defending Pokémon is now confused AND poisoned!!!  I won a game with just a Venomoth and my opponent took no prizes!  And don't forget shift!!!
