10. Fossil Magmar (High hp, basic pokemon, 40 with 2 energies, can poison)
 
9.  Gengar (great power, ok attack, low retreat, no weakness, fighting resistance)
 
8. Fossil Haunter (great power, ok attack, no weakness, fighing resistance, free retreat cost.
 
7. Articuno (great attacks, no weakness, fighting resistance)
 
6. Venusaur (good power, good attack, high hp)
 
5. Alakazam (awesome power for stall decks)
 
4. Mr. Mime (probably most feared card, great power, good attack, combined with alakazam almost unstoppable)

6.  Energy retrieval (great if u have just been super energy removaled)
 
5.  Energy Removal (great for double colorless energies and pokemon with high energy requirements) 
 
4.  Pokemon Breeder (best for evolving your blastoise faster and easier, also great to evolve machop to machamp since machoke really sucks)
 
3. Super Energy Removal (Awesome card, although you have to discard an energy of your own, it prevents your opponent from probably attacking you next turn except for rain dance decks)
 
2.  Professor Oak (use with not many cards in hand, great for rain dance and haymakers)
 
1.  Bill (Best trainer ever, common card, no discard costs, always include 4 in any deck.
