Poliwag, Poliwhirl, Poliwrath

 

After months of playing, I've found very few people willing to put Poliwag, Poliwhirl, or Poliwrath in their deck.  Why? of course, to save room for that dumb Blastoise.  For such a good card, his first evolution, Squirtle, really sucks.  10 damage?!  I think that Poliwag's 30 damage is much better He does have lots of weaker points (low HP, oly 40)  Evolving him is a good idea- but hecan lose strength fast.   I suggest that you keep him on the bench, until it is evolved.  Poliwhirl is better than Wartortle in every way, except for HP.  Using him is easy, as all you need is 2 Water energies to stop the best attack from coming through.  And, if your lucky, Doubleslap can knock off a Charizard in one hit, hmm, nice surprise for the big doofus.  Poliwrath is simply da bomb.  He has his weaker points, as all do, but he has a sweet attack, Whirlpool.  If the defender isn't already dead after he's through with them with Whirlpool, It has one energy less.  His Water Gun is pretty cool too, with up to 50 damage.
