Porygon-The Virtual Bird of Death.

There are few guarantees in the game of Pokemon; one is Death by Porygon, a
clever trick courtesy of a very cool card, Porygon.
This is a great, great Pokemon card. It offers a unique way to attack (as
well as defend) unlike any other Pokemon available. Simply put, the two
types of Conversion attacks offer an entirely different way to use a
Pokemon.
Some might think the 30 hp it has is a major drawback and that Porygon is
not a smart Pokemon to use. Wrong! The low hp score is part of what makes
Porygon so deadly.
Think about it: Have any energy type Pokemon that has an energy attack of
dam 30 or more on your bench with Porygon (not a difficult request). Send in
Porygon with just one energy of any kind (another simple request) and make
your opponent weak to whatever your charged up energy Pokemon has.
Unfortunately, that leaves Porygon vulnerable to attack. Great! Let's hope
your opponent's Pokemon can do a dam 30 or more attack, or is a fighting
Pokemon. They can't help but smash Porygon to bits. Put your   prepared
energy Pokemon into the active position and do at least 60 dam, enough to
kill most any Pokemon, or at least put a powerful one closer to it's demise.
Yes, Porygon's usage this way entails a sacrifice, but it is still a
guaranteed way to seriously damage/knock out an enemy Pokemon. Being that
you can decide when to make such a sacrifice, you are at a tactical
advantage: You get to choose what Pokemon your opponent loses while he can
only make you lose the Pokemon you choose, albeit your choice must be
Porygon.
Who works well with this Porygon attack? Well, Seaking comes to mind, being
that it's low energy attack will do 60 dam if it follows Porygon. Mr. Mime
is another good choice. Meditate would d 20 than 60 damage to a Pokemon
Porygon made weak to psychic. Plus, Porygon's defensive Conversion makes it
a sort of anti-Mime, resistant to dam below 30 instead of above (The
ultimate stalling team!). Jynx and Mewtwo (Movie Edition) would probably be
good to use with Porygon too. Obviously, other colorless Pokemon aren't much
help when it comes to this attack, though. And, Pokemon with no weaknesses
will also be immune to Porygon's trap. In other words, watch out for dragon
decks!
