Sup?
After surviving the onslaught of even MORE flames, I've managed to scrape
together another article.
Here goes...

BEST (attackers) OF THE BEST

Fire-
Best basic: FS Magmar.  1st attack is great for the early game, and it's
second attack is like as good as Electabuzz's and Hitmonchan's.
(2nd:Charmander)
Best evolved:  Ninetales.  Lure is GOW but reusable and Fire blast car fry
anything pretty dang fast. (2nd: Arcanine)
Worst Card: Welll............ Charizard.  Fire doesn't have that many bad
cards but the big lizard IS pretty bad (by itself).

Grass-
Best Basic: Scyther. Wait a minute, Scyther's GRASS???? (2nd:Pinsir)
Best Evolved: Venusaur.  This one's easy.  Only 2 reatreat, nifty pokepower,
and a good attack. (2nd: Gloom.  Don't make fun of it!)
Worst Card:  Victreebell.  The only good thing about it is lure.

Water-
Best Basic: Articuno. Obvious good stuff. (2nd:Staryu)
Best Evolved: Blastoise.  I wonder why??:-p (2nd:Gyrados or Dewgong)
Worst card:  For me there is no absolute here, but some of the new fossil
cards SUCK.

Colorless-
Best Basic: Doduo.  That's actually how I got my name, cuz I like doduo so
much...
Best Evolved:  Clefable's good but I prefer Dragonair.  Hyper beam is
SAWEET. (2nd:clefable)
Worst Card:  That goofy promo Dragonite.

Fighting-
Best Basic:  The hitmon brothers.  If you get one of each loaded, they're
nearly unstoppable. (2nd: machop)
Best Evolved: Aerodactyl.  Sort of like scyther except scarier.
(2nd:Machamp)
Worst Card: Kabutops. Nuff' said.

Psychic-
Best Basic: Mr. Mime.  Good in any deck even without psy energy so you can
recover some. (2nd: promo Mewtwo)
Best Evolved: Alakazam.  Pokemon power is great. (2nd Gengar)
Worst card: Welcome to BasicGastlyBash 2000!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Even if you keep
your oponnent asleep for one turn, bye-bye next turn!!!!!! Destiny bond is
pure crap too.

Lightning-
Best Basic: Buzz.
Best Evolved: Raichu(base).  There aren't great evos in Lightning but
Agility is almost a ticket to the BofB.
Worst card:  Voltorb.
