Hey there Pojo fans.

This article is to discuss the good points of Goldeen and Seaking, which
I read from some of you people out there is an awful family.

Personally, I think the Goldeen/Seaking family is pretty good. It's has
cheap energy requirements for attacks, average HP, and a reasonable
retreat cost. Goldeen needs W to do Horn Attack and cause 10 HP damage.
Seaking needs the same amount of energy to do the same attack and the
same damage but add another energy of any type to cause 30 HP damage with
Waterfall. The HP for Goldeen is an average 40 HP which a lot of other
basic pokémon have. Seaking has 70 HP which is pretty good for a stage
one pokémon. The retreat cost is very good for Goldeen since it has none
and Seaking only needs to discard one energy card to retreat which is
really good considering many stage one have two or even three.

This family line is also very affordable. Goldeen is a common card and
Seaking is only an uncommon card. Because these cards are very cheap,
they're good to replace Magikarp and Gyarados with if you can't seem to
get any. Goldeen is a lot better than Magikarp and although Seaking might
not have 100 HP or high damage attacks, it's good to use early on since
it has such low energy requirement's.

So there you have it, a seemingly bad family turned good. I'm not saying
this is one of the top three water families but it's definitely not the
worst (I think the worst is Shellder and Cloyster. They stink!).
