This is my first article to the Pojo. I was going to write one when I
thought up the little AeroMew thing, but someone beat me to it, so never
mind.
   Mew is a pretty good card, though, and capable of plenty of combos. When
Team Rocket comes out, Psychic deck owners (like me) can throw in the Evil
Slowbro+Mew combo. First, take a look at the Pokemon:

Evil Slowbro
Type: Stage 1 Psychic Pokemon (Evolves from Slowpoke)
LV.24   HP 60
[Pokemon Power] Fishing
Effect: This power is used once when this card is put into play. Choose up
to 3 Basic Pokemon and/or Evolution cards from your discard pile, show then
to your opponent, then put them into your hand.
PP: Whimsical Attack: 40
Effect: Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing.

No. 080 (Rare Hologram)

Not a bad attack, 40 damage for 2 energies, but the Power is the center of
the combo.

Most of you probably know Mew, but in case you don’t:

Mew
Type: Basic Psychic Pokemon
LV. 23  HP 50
P: Psywave: 10x
Effect: Does 10 damage times the number of Energy cards attached to the
Defending Pokemon.
PP: Devolution Beam
Effect: Choose an evolved Pokemon (your own or your opponent’s). Return the
highest Stage Evolution card on the Pokemon to its player’s hand. That
Pokemon is no longer Asleep, Confused, Paralyzed, Poisoned, or anything else
that might be the result of an attack (just as if you had evolved it).

Basically, what you would do is first evolve your Slowpoke into the Evil
Slowbro. (That lets you Revive 3 Pokemon!) Then, De-Evolve the Slowbro with
Mew’s Dev. Beam. Next turn, evolve it again, and so forth. It is practically
unstoppable, since if Mew is K.O.ed, you just bring out a Pokemon with a low
retreat cost, like Abra, and Re-evolve the Slowbro. It regenerates the Mew,
so you can retreat the Abra for Mew and repeat!
