Okay, I am sick and tired of
the ignorant people who diss mew. Everybody says 50 HP is bad,
Devolution beam is useless and psywave is like destiny bond. THAT IS NOT
TRUE.
First off, 50 HP is pretty good
for a basic. 40 HP to 50 HP is a big increase because most attacks do
10, 20, and 30 damage. That means that a 40 HP Pokemon will take 2/2/4 turns
to be knocked out but with 50 HP it will take 2/3/5 turns to be knocked out.
So his HP is OK. Now for Psywave. You do not put mew down when the
enemy has no energies on, because the enemy will be smart and not put any on,
so put it down when they already have energy down. And Psywave is also a
nice move because it costs one energy to use. Now for devolution beam.
Sure it returns it to their hand and not their discard pile, but let's
say the opponent has a Pokemon out like let's say... Arcanine. You have
a promo Mewtwo out. Arcanine has 60 damage on it. You retreat
promo meewtwo and send out the little mew and your opponent says, "oohh
I'm scared! a little cat like thing won't touch my Arcanine!" Then
you use devolution beam. It is turnedinto a 60 HP Growlithe and
automaticly dies. Andare you people forgetting the Aerodactyl+mew combo?
Just throw Aerodactyl down and keep de-evolving everyone and they are left
with magikarps and such.
So you see you must look at the card closely and
think of it's uses before you say it sucks.
