Hello. This is my first card strategy. And it's about the base set Charizard.

LEt's look at Charizard, Shall we?

HP:120
Great. Stage 2, max HP.

Weakness: Water
Raindance kills it. Raindances are popular. Unfortunately, you need to rate a
card on how it plays. Raindances are so damn popular, almost everyone has
that. But argruably, it's just a weakness.

REsistance: Fighting
Takes that annoying hitmonchan 12 turns to kill you. OK.

Retreat: 3
Ouch. High. Switch, scoop up, or Fuji. No big deal.

Pokemon Power: Energy Burn
As often as you like during your turn (before you attack) you may turn all
energy attached to Charizard into (F) energy for the rest of the turn. This
power can't be used if Charizard is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
Great idea. Put 2 DCE's to attack, or any combo. Venusaur fans will be able
to make a good deck with that.

Attack:4 (F) Fire Spin 100
Discard 2 Energy cards attach to Charizard in order to use this attack
Well, 2 DCE leave you with no energy. This is OK, but in most cases you won't
be able to attack for 2 turns, and that sucks. Mr. Mime is invunerable with
this guy. A weaker attack would be great.

So, on a scale from 1-10, Charizard is a 7. Too much energy is required for
this guy.

I personally like the Evil Charizard more, but that's just me.
