Ok first off I would like to say.  You have posted NO strategy about Charizard.  You have NEVER played with him.  You don't even mention anything about his power or attack!  All you say is "I told the guy not to let me buy anymore packs, but the thickness tells you if there is a holo".  Let me tell you from experiance, THERE IS NO WAY TO TELL IF THERE IS A HOLO IN THE PACK.  I have tried many different ways.  You can't tell if one is heavier by holding it.  You can't tell if there is a thickness either.  All you posted was a buncha mumbo jumbo about how to pull holos.  This would be a good strat of Charizard.

Well most everyone thinks Charizard sucks because well you have to discard 2 cards to attack?
Well true but use him as a ER, SER catcher.
When he is on your bench, lay one or two energy on him and more than half the time, your oppenet with ER or SER him.  But if you don't feel like using him as a magnet.  Here are some other good strats:

Use him in a two or three color deck.  You can put any energy on him and do the attack.  ((with the exception of muk)).  And what I usually do is use him in a fire/water deck.  Slab on 4 fire energys and 2 water, then bam attack for 100 and discard the 2 waters because it says energy cards. Not energy.  And for Mr. Mimes?  Can't help you there.  GOW will work good.

NOW that is a strat.  Your talking about getting Scoop Up, Lasses Clefairys and all this stuff that doesn't DEAL with Charizard!
