I'm sorry PoJo if my last post resembled yours. I got some complaints about
me "playgerisming" your magazine. I would like you to know that I did not
copy out of your magazine. Anyway, here is my
opinion on Giovanni's Nidoran male line. First, lets take a look at
Giovanni' Nidoran male's stats:

Giovanni's Nidoran male
lvl.14  Grass type  40 HP
{C}Double Kick                            10x
flip 2 coins. this attack does 10
damage times the number of heads.
{G}Momentary Rage                      30
you can't use this attack unless this pokemon
has 2 or more damage counters on it.
-C retreat     P weakness    (no) resistance

The colorless attack helps boost his power, and Momentary Rage is great for
dishing out damage
before the low HP knocks him out. Not bad.

Giovanni's Nidorino
lvl.32 Grass type  70 HP
{GCC}Horn Rage                         40
If the defending pokemon has any damage counters
on it, this attack does 40 damage instead.
-CC retreat    P weakness    (no) resistance

70 HP is above average for a stage 1. Horn Rage is decent after you use it
once. Might work well
with Gengar. Swap a damage to the active and Horn Rage for double damage.
Only a decent evolution, though.

Giovanni's Nidoking
lvl.58  Grass type  120 HP
{G}Intimidate
IF the defending pokemon has an HP of 50 or less,
until the end of your opponent's turn, it can't attack.
{GGGC}Rolling Attack                   40+
Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 70 damage instead.
-CCC retreat    P weakness    (no) resistance

Having a problem with a Mew? Stall it until Giovanni's Nidoking is fully
powered and Rolling Attack
it into oblivion. Nice staller for people who approve of Poor Man's Haymaker
without Fossil Magmar.
Rolling Attack's cost is high, but that's O.k. On a scale of one-ten, I'd
give this family a 8.5.
