Yes, this strategy would work, the forcing of your opponent to discard his/her hand and draw seven new cards. However, Impostor Professor Oak does not work like that. What it does do, is make your opponent shuffle his/her hand into his/her deck and draw seven new cards. So, it's not beneficial, unless your opponent just happened to have...oh, maybe a Charizard and Pokemon Breeder in their hand, with a loaded Charmander on their bench. ;) Hope this info is helpful to all you trainers.
