I have noticed something about the Charizard-kill articles. A number of them are based around using Mewtwo to force him to attack and lose energy. Take a look at page 11 of the rulebook. It says ? "IF YOU WISH, you may have your Active Pokemon attack blah blah blah...." You don't have to attack! You don't have to discard! In fac, that is one of the most counterproductive anti-Char strategies in the whole game, because MEWTWO is discarding energy to save himself from Charizard. Eventally, he'll run out, and he can't even use Psychic! The Mewtwo card says "Prevent all effects of attacks blah blah next turn...." What if there are NO ATTACKS next turn?!! Anyway, I belive Charizard and Chansey are equal. Chansey is the best wall pokemon in the game. I once played a guy with a 4-Chansey Damage Swap Deeck, and he kept double-edging. Charizard is also great. It has the best attack in the game, because Zapdos has to discard all his energy, whereas Charizard must discard 2. He also has incredible HP, and can use any energy, which is excellent. His Weakness to Water only comes up in some places, and his Resistance and type help him against the ever-popular Hitmonchan and Scyther. Actually, I have a great deck with Charizard and 3 Scythers as my main pokemon, and it works wonderfully. Anyway, so that's my opinion. Personally, I believe all pokemon are equal. To some extent. (Goldeen........ugh! Doesn't even have a great evol like Magikarp!) ?Agile, Pokemon Master Charizard and Scyther, Rulers of the Pokemon!
