Arcanine is not better than Ninetales. I, personally, think both are the same. Each has Good Points and Bad Points. Even though a Arcanine can defeat a Ninetales doesn't mean that match up will happen anytime soon. Let me look at what Jason said: Ninetales:Hp: 80 (lower than arcanine??) ((Yes it is.)) Attacks: lure 2colerless, switch opponets pokemon(who cares.....uh...g.o.w.) ((Who cares? Actually, a lot of people care. This "attack" can save up space in some decks. Not much need to put a lot G.O.W. in when you have Ninetales.)) fireblast 4fire!!!!( fire spicificly) ((specifically*)) 80 damage(look up...takedown) ((I did. Look at the bottom...)), discard 1fire. retreat cost: 1 Arcanine:Hp:100 (very nice) ((I agree)) Attacks: Flamthrower 2fire 1 colerless, 50 damage(discard 1 fire energy), take down 2fire 2colerless, 80 damage(does 30 damage to arcanine, ONE WORD, DEFENDER!!!). retreat cost: 3 colerless (switch) ((Still, there MIGHT be the chance you can't get a Switch)) No matter what, each of Arcanine's attacks have a set back. You either have to Discard an energy or do damage to itself. If I was making a Fire deck, I would use BOTH of them. Take Down: Does 30 damage to itself. (80) Fireblast: Discard 1 Fire Energy. (80) Sounds fair, doesn't it? C'ya! Don BrockCSWD@aol.com
