The Fossil set will be coming out soon so I thought of some strategies.

Omanyte and Impostor Oak

Get an Omanyte to see your opponents hand and if they are about to
crush you, Impostor Oak them!

Alakazam and Tentacool

Swap all your damage counters (2 at max.) to a Tentacool and then use
Tentacools Pokemon Power and remove the damage from tentacool.
Another alternative is Chansey, Alakazam and Scoop up but we are
talking about Fossil right now.

Mulligan Mewtwo and Recycle

If you miss the coin flip at the start of the game don't worry! when you

discard energy use recycle and put it at the top of your deck.
