Dear Readers, The writer of the article that this one is regarding has obviously forgot about one thing...Retreat Cost! Say you have a Ninetales with 5 fire Energies and your opponent has a Charizard with one fire energy one his bench and a Wartortle with 2 water energies active that might kill you next turn, and you both have one prize left. You use Lure and bring out Charizard. For his turn he puts a fire energy on Charizard, but can't retreat him. For your turn you use Fire Blast for eighty and discard one. One his turn, he put his water energie on Wartortle, and runs out energie in his hand. You use Fire Blast again and faint the Charizard. For Victreebel, you have a Victreebel with two grass, and your opponent has a Machoke on the bench w/out any energy and a Charmander active. And you both need one prize. For your turn you lure out Machoke and he puts a fire on Charmander. YOu use acid and flip tails, oh well, it's not like he can retreat anyways. He puts a fire energy on Machoke and says "go." you use Acid and flip tails again. He takes a fighting energy and puts it on Machoke. You use acid and flip heads. He puts a fighting on Machoke, and could retreat, but he can't because of the acid. He can't do either attack for any good and you use acid one last time and faint him. Ninetales's and Victreebel's "Lure" is a really good attack that can easily help you in a situation like these, or many others. I had a Ninetales, but when my sister and I went to the Store, there was only one Brushfire, and she kept the Ninetales and I kept the Arcanine since the Ninetales was shiny. I am currently trying my best to get one, and I have a Victreebel who really helps my deck.
