Yo, this is Sam. I read some of the articles where people are making fun of Charizard and are telling other people to trade a few Holos for him because he is a "fat energy gobbling lizard" and that he sucks because his move requires that you discard 2 energy. Charizard is one of those cards that is hard to come up with a way to use it right. Decks that manipulate energy quick using electrode can often help some of the bigger characters such as Charizard to be able to use their moves quickly. Another one of these examples is double colorless energy. Before using Charizard(this is what I do) you have to pile on energy so that you can use his attack more than once. However energy removal may stop it dead in its tracks. But decks based around Charizard, if built right, are very powerful. So to all you people out there who think there is a "best card" there isn't. No Charizard is not the best. Nothing is. All cards do a certain thing that makes them unique from others. Certain cards are better than others but there is no "best" or "top" card. I'm sick of all these Charizard v.s. Chansey cases. They can both beat each other, it just depends on the situation. Charizard's line is very nice. Charmeleon can deal 30 or 50 damage. Charmanders not that bad doing 10 or 30 damage. Charizard also has a nice Hp not to mention a resistance to fighting. Also he has a retreat of 3(Not 4). So if you are thinking of trading your charizards away, just think about this article!:) Well if you would like to post in your questions or comments e-mail me at chrisloo@home.com.
