Dear Pojo, This is an article about a pokemon I actually looked over when I examened that Jungle set. Kangaskhan is one big awsome tuffy that I expect to place in nearly every deck I make... There's Always room for Kangas. The pokemon starts the same as most colorless pokemon, with weakness to fighting and res. to psi, but everything changes when you look at his first attack... draw a card? for one energy... you got to be kidding. thats pointless..no damage, and you waste your attack..just to set the stage for a retaliation? YES! THATS GOOD! Punching bags in pokemon, are like GOLD. Chansey was the KING/Queen (whatever the poof ball is) Of the punching bags. This guy could take a HUGe beating and still be on his feet. Kanguskhan, is an almost perfected version of the Pillow Poof. What makes Kanguskhan so effective, is he gets you 4 cards extra in your hand before he whips out the Six-pack of whoop ass. Now, its true, that chansey's scrunch and HP can let him survive longer, but Kaguskhans FIRST attack, lets him die/KO with a purpose. EVEN IF HE DOES NO DAMAGE, you've got the upper hand, you've got more cards... the BIGGEST beef I have about the guy, is the retreat cost. This just sucks. He would be SO much better of a pokemon with out the large, three, retreat cost. But what can you do. Hes so good already.
