Hey Pojo. This is a Single Card Evaluation article named: "How to USE Charizard" _____Actual article follows_____ Okay, right off the bat here, I am NOT saying that I love Charizard, that it is the best, that it is the worst, or anything like that. I am just stating one of the better ways to use Charizard. I'll make it easy by putting it in steps. 1. Have some good basic Pokemon (Like Magmar) in your deck. 2. Have lots of Fire Energy (Duh). 3. (Here's where the strategy starts...) Keep Charizard on the bench while your strong Basic Pokemon hold down the fort. Pump up Charizard like crazy. I suggest until he has about 8 Fire Energy on him (I know it sounds ridiculous, but here's why...) 4. Bring out Charizard. Now, if you have Charizard at what I think is the best Energy level (8 Fire Energies), and your opponent has no E.R.s or S.E.R.s, this is where Charizard does his thing. The following is a short scenario. Turn 1: Charizard is out with 8 Fire Energies on him. You give him one more. That's 9. He uses Fire spin for the first time. Now he's down to 7 Energy. Turn 2: Charizard is out with 7 Fire Energies on him. You give him one more. That's 8. He uses Fire spin for the second time. Now he's down to 6 Energy. Turn 3: Charizard is out with 6 Fire Energies on him. You give him one more. That's 7. He uses Fire spin for the third time. Now he's down to 5 Energy. Turn 4: Charizard is out with 5 Fire Energies on him. You give him one more. That's 6. He uses Fire spin for the fourth time. Now he's down to 4 Energy. Turn 5: Charizard is out with 4 Fire Energies on him. You give him one more. That's 5. He uses Fire spin for the fifth time. Now he's down to 3 Energy. Turn 6: Seeing a pattern? Charizard is out with 3 Fire Energies on him. You give him one more. That's 4. He uses Fire spin for the SIXTH FRIGGIN time!! Now he's down to 2 Energy. Turn 7: If your opponent hasn't been Fire Spun to hell by now, Attach one more energy to Charizard and retreat him. Then repeat turns 1-6. The only ways that I can think of to stop this vicious cycle are E.R.s, S.E.R.s, G.O.W.s, and Raindance decks. Thanks for reading my article.
