I believe that the information in the article regarding Pidgeot is inaccurate and very misleading. Pidgeot is, in fact, quite a powerful card. Yes, it is a Stage 2 Evolution Card. Yes, it is a colorless Pokemon and has 80 HP. Yes, it's weakness is to Electric, and has a Resistance to Fight. But here is the corrected information on this Pokemon: It has two attacks. The first, Wing Attack, requires 2 energy of any type, and does 20 damage. The second, Hurricane, requires 3 energy of any type. And the text reads as follows: "Unless this attack knocks out the defending Pokemon, return the defending pokemon and all cards attached to it to your opponent's hand". In other words, this is quite a powerful move. I recommend it in every deck, with this mentality: Build it up on your bench. As soon as you see a Pokemon that your opponent is building up and has brought up as his/her Active Pokemon, get your Pidgeot up as your Active Pokemon somehow (through the trainer card Switch, paying retreat costs, etc.) Then, attack it with Hurricane. Revel in the look of your opponent's face when their Charizard and 8 attached energy cards are sent back to their hand, and their game plan put on a severe hold. Just a thought. =) Pidgeot is a backbone in my Bird Keeper deck (all birds...nice name, don't you think?) It's mostly a theme deck, just for fun. E-mail me if you'd like to see what mine looks like...I'd be happy to share it! =) Michael T. asianknight@hotmail.com com
