Dear Pojo,

I am writing this article since I have been credited for "finding" 
farfetch'd for other players.  I would like to thank EVERYONE for giving me 
the credit.  I really appreciate it.  But I'm sorry, Farfetch'd's days are 
numbered.....   let me explain.

Now that Jungle is out, in full force, there are many different angles and 
situations it has created.  In this new environment, a pokemon such as 
farfetch'd no longer has such a large impact.

I have been reading that everyone keeps claiming: "SCYTHER! he has replaced 
farfetch'd!"   but to tell you the truth, he didn't.  The only reason 
Scyther IS as good as he is, is that he is BETTER Than Farfetch'd...IN THIS 
ENVIRONMENT....  His abilities are VERY CLOSE to farfetch'd's, and that's 
why I think players try to compare, but truthfully, hes not better because 
he ADDS to the original abilities, he just brings in new ones.  I'm saying 
he doesn't replace farfetch'd, because farfetch'd was good in the Base set 
play.  In order to replace him, you have to have the same gaming 
environment. The reason hes so good, is hes GREEN!  THIS IS THE BIGGEST 
REASON HES BETTER...   there are now pokemon with WEAKNESSES to him.  its 
true he now can't use any type of energy, but as i said, he didn't REPLACE 
him...hes only better. Like Chansey is better than abra.  Another huge 
aspect is his HP.  This turns him into a pokemon that of the likes of 
hitmonchan and eletrabuzz.  In all fairness, the biggest reason he cant 
replace farfetch'd is that he doesn't belong in the majority of the decks.   
You could find farfetch'd in pretty much everyone's deck, at some time or 
another. If Scyther Has Replaced any pokemon, its Really Hitmonchan....

I'm not going to go off on 100 different examples.  There just is no reason. 
  Farfetch'd was a POWERFUL card b4 jungle, but with so many different 
pokemon added in, his abilities fall short.

I felt good to see the guy in so many players decks, but now jungle has come 
out, I see much less reason to place it in players decks.  The arguments FOR 
farfetch'd are reasons that compare him to Scyther.  The metagame has 
changed, farfetch'd really doesn't fit as well as he used to...:)
