One, for all you scyther fans, I have news, if you have a Scyther fully powered, DO NOT USE SWORDS DANCE! It will do 60 the next turn, but if it is fully powered, use slash both turns for THE EXACT SAME DAMEGE AS SWORDS DANCE THEN SLASH. You can use swords dance, but I don't see why, if your opponent( I will call the opponent Bob in this article) Decides to switch, 30 on one Pokémon, 30 on the other, or sixty on just one with swords dance. So, if you have three energy on Scyther, swords dance is useless. And two, I have a way to really beat up one of those annoying fire decks at the beginning of the game. And I use a seemingly useless card, Staryu. In a big gathering, not a tourney, of Pokémon trainers, I fought many a fire deck. Bob slaps down his big Charmander in the hopes of getting one of his Charizards. I put Staryu. It has 40 hp, 20 attack for one energy, 40 against fire. At the beggining, you knock out Charmanders in two hits, and if Staryu is weakened, use Potion. And, Super Potion and Pokémon Center work well too, since Staryu only takes one energy. If the opponent does get to be a threat, Staryu's low retreat cost helps. And try to get some Energy Removals in the game. Back to the battle, if you take the Charmanders out, Bob's Charizards are useless. Now, another thing, you people say that Charizard is the best, well, most of you say that. I think that the only advantages Charizard has over Charmeleon is Energy Burn and hp. Charmeleon can power up faster, and hits for 50, in two turns, that's 100. Charizard also hits 100 in two turns. One turn to hit, and one turn to put an energy, the nest turn another 100, then lag time for enegry, and so on. Also, Charmeleon is easier to find and get on the table to fight. Last, I think Farfetch'd is not good. Sure, it hits for thirty...WITH THREE ENERGY. I admit, it is luck of the flip, but I have never hit with the one energy attack(I forget the name). But still, three energy is too much for 30, Charizard can hit 100 for four, Charmeleon can hit 30 or 50 with three, I could go on forever.
