Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com :: First let's look at the facts: :: ::Pidgeot ::Stage 2, evolves from Pidgeotto ::Level: 18 ::HP: 80 ::Weakness: Lightning ::Resistance: Fighting -30 ::Attacks: Three colorless -- Hit With wings: 30 ::Four Colorless -- 20/when defending pokemon is knocked out, return it two the ::opponent's hand. If your Pidgeot truly says what you typed up there, then you got one helluva misprint. The attacks are (from the top of my head) Two colorless -- Wing attack : 20 Three colorless -- Hurricane : 30 If Pokemon isn't K'Oed by this attack, return the Pokemon and all cards attached to it to owner's hand. That's a bit better than what you wrote, but even now it can look like a bad card. :: ::A: If you use Pidgeot's best attack, you can't even kill the defending ::pokemon. Damage is dealt before any effects take place, making it possible to kill with hurricane. ::B: Three energy for 30 damage sucks for a stage 2. Not when it has a special effect. ::C: Pidgeot is a level 18, and Pidgeotto is a level 36!! Does level ever matter when you're playing a game?? ::D: Four energy for 20 means that one energy does 5 damage. Are you sure? :: :: Pidgeot shouldn't be a stage two...he should take the place of Pidgey ::and evolve into Pidgeotto. Pidgeot will never be a good card...no matter ::what anyone says. He can if you have the correct version of him. Pidgeot can be an excellent card in a few situations. My favorite one is: Squirtle->Pokemon Breeder->Blastoise + 1218264124 water energy If you hurricane the blastoise, then they get a squirtle, a blastoise, and a kajillion energy in their hand. They can't evolve the Squirtle anymore! (Most decks with Blastoise that I've seen usually don't have any Wartortles) And even if they did, you'd slow them down by at least 2 turns to evolve the Pokemon. Same goes with any Pokemon that requires more than 2 energy. It'll slow them down by two+ turns. And after you've gotten rid of the threats(Pokemon with multiple energy), you can retreat Pidgeot for FREE and attack with another Pokemon you've charged up. Yes, he isn't the best card, but he's a good card, and not nearly as bad as you make him sound. snowpat@hotmail.com
