What is this someone is critiquing and doesn't completely know the card.  
Can you say super millstone (from magic).  His first attack is (f) discard a 
fire tomake opponent discard top card from deck

  This is great, let me give you some situations.  Your opponent uses 
pokedex puts the card he most wants on top.moltres equals no best card.  
Early in the game he may take a vital piece of deck,  like energy.(or in the 
case of no energy stalls... poke centers).

   You will have yur own opinion whether he stinks or not but there will be 
decks made with him so be ready.
