Poliwrath and Chansey should be in your deck.  Here's why: 
Chansey is a good card to send out early.  I use him to stall the opponent 
since they will most likely 
have out a basic Pokemon.  I keep using Scrunch.  The more stalled they are, 
the more cards I 
recieve. 

Poliwrath has Whirlpool.  It's an energy removal that does 40 damage!  That 
can SERIOUSLY hurt a 
Charizard, leaving it with forty damage and set it back an energy which is 
bad for a Charizard.  Also, 
Water gun can deal out 40 damage at most.
