Dear Pojo,
   First off, great site. I have seen alot of articles about the goods in 
Scyther, and I am thinking to myself,"Is there another grass Pokemon that 
can give Scyther some competition?" And then I remembered Pinsir! Ah yes, 
Pinsir. Now lets compare these two:

Scyther:
Swords Dance is useless unless you have a dbl. colorless energy in your hand 
and either way you can still do 60 damage in 2 turns just by slashing him 
twice. 70hp is great though. And resitsance to fighting is even better. 
Usually only flying pokemon(such as Charizard, Pidgeotto, and Zapdos)have 
resistance to fighting. Free retreat cost is good as well. This guy makes up 
a great pokemon.

Pinsir:
For 2 grass you can do Iron grip which does 20 and a chance of paralyzing. 
For 2 grass and 2 colorless you can do Guillotine which does 50. Not bad. 
60hp and one retreat cost isnt that great but still pretty good. This guy is 
a swell pokemon as well.

Well, what Scyther lacks in attacks he makes up in hp and retreat cost and 
what Pinsir lacks in hp and retreat cost he makes up in attacks, so this is 
a pretty even match here. But I think I might have to go with Pinsir.
