Dear Readers, My article is about Blastoise and his use with a water deck. Now, some people compare two Poke'mon and who is better. I found that just plain idiotic. Everybody has their right to their opinion about their poke'mon. I wrote this to show how Blastoise can help those with a water deck. Many think of Blastoise this way. WOW! Five water energy to do 60 Damage! 3 retreat cost! This guy is terrible! Not so. In games. I rarely ever get Blastoise of the bench. He has many different uses, but for me, he is an element of surprise. As soon as I get him out I start collecting energy in my hand. as I get more energy I evolve the Poke'mon which will require that energy. Let's say I have a Dewgong out with no energy. The other person who has say a Charmeleon out is biting his fingers over what to do. He doesn't have enough energy to attack, but he could retreat. Then he takes a look at that Dewgong. "What am I fretting about, he doesn't have enought energy to attack either... shew!" Now a smart player would assume I had some way of charging up that Dewgong, but in tournaments, many a time the first few newbies will not think like that. Next turn you can use Blastoise and charge up all your Poke'mon fast. That is the main reason I am using him. I am not saying Charizard, Venusaur, or any other Poke'mon are bad. They are good in their own way. Everybody has their own opinion. It all depends on which deck you are using and which Poke'mon you like better. I hope you have found my article interesting and helpful.
