Okay Everybody's been saying Scyther is better than Farfetch'd, and that's true. But look at Electabuzz. This is a battle between Electabuzz to Scyther. Scyther has 70HP and so does Electabuzz who also has 70HP (Tie). Their Both Basic Pokemon (Tie). Scyther's attack cost a energy, but just to boost up his attack by double, but Electabuzz's 1st attack costs 1 energy also but does 10 damage plus if you flip a heads on a coin you go again (Electabuzz). Scyther's 2nd attack costs 3 energy and does 30 damage, but does 60 damage if you used his first attack. Electabuzz's 2nd attack costs 2 energy but does 30+10 if the coin is head, but If it's tails then it does 30 damage plus 10 to itself (Electabuzz). Scyther has a resistence but Electabuzz doesn't (Scyther). Now Scyther's retreat cost takes no energy's , and Electabuzz's retreat costs 2 energy's (Scyther). So in the long run I think they are tied for the best basic pokemon. Now that brings me to another thing, and that's a deck. With a Lightning and Leaf deck you could have all 3 great basic pokemon Farfetch'd, Scyther, and Electabuzz. Please Pojo post this articale, because it has a chance to be good. Here's is my deck called "Leafshock". It's made up of Lighting, Leaf, and Coloress Pokemon. It was not a large scaled tournament because I can't get to those places but it was a tournament. Including me there was 16 people in all. Are little tournament was held in Wading River, NY on July 1st, 1999. Here are the cards: 14 Leaf Energy 14 Lightning Energy 3 Double Coloress Energy 3 Scyther 2 Electabuzz 3 Jigglypuff 4 Bulbasaur 3 Pikachu 1 Wigglytuff 2 Ivysaur 1 Raichu 1 Venusaur 2 Gust of Wind 1 Switch 2 Super Potion 3 Bill 1 Pokemon Breeder My All-Time record with this deck is 23-4. In the tournament I came in 2nd place. The types I won against in the tournament was Water, Psychic, and Psychic and Water. I lost to a deck that was made up of Fire and Fighting, but I gathered up 5 prizes. He had 2 Charizard, so that killed me. John Cipriani Drk46
