To the pojo: I've been reading about this little war like thing between Venusaur and Blastoise (like the one between Charizard and Chansey, except smaller). Here's what I think about them: Venusaur: Attacks: Pokemon power: Energy trans, transfers grass energy from one pokemon to another(type doesn't matter) Grass energy x4: Solar Beam: 60 Ups: Venusaur can transfer grass energy throughout your bench and active pokemon, even to itself. It's attack does the same maximum base damage as Blastoise for one less energy. Lower retreat cost Downs: Takes longer to power up. Weakness to type that does high damage(fire). Basic and Stage 1 pokemon suck. Blastoise: Attacks: Pokemon power: Rain dance, allows you to put as many water energies as you like one any of your water pokemon without using up your one energy per turn thing. Water energy x3: Hydro pump: 40+, do additional 10 damage for each additional water energy. any after the second doesn't count. Ups: Fast time powering up with pokepower. Pokepower also great in mono-water decks. Can knock out any fire pokemon in one hit when fully powered up. Good former stages. Downs: Higher retreat cost. Uses more energy. Weakness to another good type, electric. I think Blastoise is a little better. This is only my opinion, no hate mail, please.
