Vulpix, Ninetales, Growlithe, and Arcanine: A New Look On An Old Debate

 Everybody knows the old debate between Arcanine and Ninetales, between
Vulpix and Growlithe. Here's a question for you. How many people have
stopped arguing and put them both in the same deck? I have, and my
ranked is 4th best in the Comic Company.
Vulpix, 50 HP: 2 Fire: Confuse Ray. 10 damage. Flip a coin. If heads,
the Defending Pokemon is Confused.
Growlithe, 60 HP: 1 Fire, 1 CLS: Flare. 20 damage. Both pretty standard
attacks, right? Both do average damage, and one Confuses.
  Ninetales, 80 HP: 2 CLS: Lure. Switch one of opponent's Benched
Pokemon with his Active Pokemon. 4 Fire: Fire Blast. 80 damage. discard
1 F-energy.
  Arcanine, 100 HP: 2 Fire, 1 CLS: Flamethrower. 50. Discard 1 F-energy.
2 Fire, 2 CLS: Take Down. 80 damage. Arcanine takes 30 damage.
  Here you go. Ninetales lines 'um up with Lure, and Arcanine takes 'em
down with Take Down. Switch 'em and do it again. An excellent combo. If
