Charizard this and Charizard that. Everybody wants Charizard. People are paying $30.00 for him!!!!! Sorry folks, but he's not worth 30 bucks. I don't think he's even worth $15. Well, anyway, here are Charizard's strengths: 120 HP. That's a lotta life. Good Pokemon Power Fire Spin deals 100 Damage Resistance to fighting (Very strong) Here are Charizard's weaknesses: His attack requires discarding 2 energy. Sure you kill one pokemon, but you're a sitting duck for the next 2 turns! I can easily kill a charizard in 2 or 3 turns. ENERGY REMOVAL!!!!!!!! The reason I don't like evolutions in the first place is energy removals. The only evolution I will ever play is Blastoise and Gyarados. This is due to the fact that energy removals aren't effective against them. Anyway, Charizard gets all pumped up, comes out, kills a hitmonchan, and you draw a prize. It's all good, right? Oh yeah, untill he Super Energy Removals you, leaving you with a defenseless Charizard that will have to wait 3 turns just to retreat. Now who's laughing? He will rip your Charizard to shreds and you have just traded a stage 2 Charizard for a Basic Hitmonchan. How do you feel? Weakness to water. This is another big weakness due to the fact that there are TONS of raindance decks out there. Blastoise kills Charizard with hydro pump. Well, I know many of you will disagree with me, but I know from experiance in tourneys that a Charizard cannot survive energy removals. ALMOST EVERY GOOD PLAYER PLAYS ENERGY REMOVALS!!! Charizard just doesn't survive a good player's energy removals. This is the main reason he is not a reliable card. Good luck, Haymaker18@aol.com
