I was looking through my cards and stopped to admire my Ninetales. Then, I saw the Arcanine behind it and I started wondering who was better. Take a look at them: Growlithe-Basic Pokémon 60 HP 1 Fire, 1 Colorless to do 20 Weak to Water Retreat Cost 1 Uncommon Vulpix-Basic Pokémon 50 HP 2 Fire to do 10 and 50% chance of Confusing the Defending Pokémon Weak to Water Retreat Cost 1 Common Current Score Growlithe/Arcanine-1 Vulpix/Ninetales-0 Arcanine-Stage 1 Evolution 100 HP 2 Fire, 1 Colorless to do 50(disard 1 Fire Energy) 2 Fire, 2 Colorless to do 80(Arcanine does 30 damage to itself) Weak to Water Retreat Cost 3 Uncommon Ninetales-Stage 1 Evolution 80 HP 2 Colorless to basically do a Gust of Wind 4 Fire to do 80(discard 1 Fire Energy) Weak to Water Retreat Cost 1 Rare-Holo Current Score Growlithe/Arcanine-2 Vulpix/Ninetales-0 Now, I've always liked both of these cards(actually I liked Ninetales a bit more than Arcanine). Ninetales is good because it has that intimidation factor because it's a holo. I love Ninetales's Lure attack as well as Fire Blast. Arcanine is easier to get a hold of because it's uncommon, along with Growlithe. Vulpix is the easiest to get a hold of out of all of them. Arcanine isn't completely dependent on Fire Energy. He has to use atleast 2 Fire Energy, unlike Ninetales needing exactly 4 Fire Energy for an attack that does damage. They all have a weakness to Water, but the Growlithe/Arcanine line has more HP than the Vulpix/Ninetales line. Of course, Ninetales has a lower retreat cost making it easier to put him back on the bench to heal his wounds. Now, I like both of these cards equally. I'm not saying I like one better than the other, I'm just showing the facts. Thanks. Ross Mead chelsie991@ezl.com
