Hi, I was looking at my cards yesterday and found something that I never noticed before. I took a look at my Jynx and Mewtwo and thought to myself, "Jynx is way better than Mewtwo." Ok, maybe, maybe not, but take a look at 'em. P=Psychic energy C=Colorless energy Mewtwo: Basic 60 HP (PC) Psychic: Does 10 damage plus 10 more for each energy card attached to the defending pokemon. (PP) Barrier: Discard 1 (P) energy card attached to Mewtwo in order to prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to Mewtwo during your offenents nexxt turn. Weakness: Psychic Resistance: None Retreat cost: 3 Psy energy Jynx: Basic 70 HP (P) Doubleslap: Flip 2 coins. This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads. (PPC) Meditate: Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on the defending pokemon. Weakness: Psychic Resistance: None Retreat cost: 2 Psy energy OK, now that you've seen what they can do just look at 'em. let's compare the two. Jynx has 70 HP: VERY good. Mewtwo has 60 HP: Not bad.(Jynx is the better of the two) They are both Basic pokemon wich makes them even better. They both have the same weakness and resistance but Jynx's Retreat cost is much lower. 2 energy instead of Mewtwo's 3.(Jynx is the better of the two). Jynx in uncommon compared to being rare like Mewtwo.(Jynx is the better of the two) Now lets look at their attacks. Jynx's 1st attack only takes 1 psychic energy and you have the ability of doing 0,10 or 20 damage. Mewtwos 1st attack takes 1 psychic and 1 colorless energy but has a possibility of doing anywhere form 10-60 damage and maybe even 70.(Mewtwo is better). Jynx's 2nd attack costs 2 psychic and 1 colorless energy. It can do anywhere from 20-130(you can only do 130 on a charizard if he has 11 damage counters on him wich is a very rare occurance). Mewtwo's 2nd attack needs 2 psychic energy and protects him him form all damage and effects you oppenent might do to you on your next turn. I think doing and average of 50 damage is better than sheilding yourself especially if you have some full heals and potions. So afetr all that I said so far you can clearly tell that Jynx is better than Mewtwo in MANY, almost all, ways. --E. Gendron (AKA) Charizard
